High Five is a sculptural building game designed by Mona El Batrik, transforming the simple act of play into a gesture of creativity, empathy, and connection. The project reimagines traditional building blocks through beautifully crafted wooden hand pieces that encourage both children and adults to think, build, and feel differently.
Each High Five piece is designed as a “helping hand,” a symbol of support and inclusivity. Through stacking, linking, and balancing these abstracted hands, players explore form, composition, and collaboration while reflecting on the deeper idea of human connection. Whether used in play, displayed as art, or integrated into educational environments, High Five invites curiosity, imagination, and dialogue about community and care.
Rooted in philanthropic values, High Five extends beyond the playroom. Mona actively seeks partnerships with nonprofit organizations that champion education, inclusion, creativity, and social good. Each collection celebrates the belief that every hand, every person, has the power to make a difference.
Sustainably produced from Baltic birch, the pieces are laser cut, UV printed with water-based inks, and packaged in recycled materials, reflecting Mona’s ongoing commitment to ethical craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.
Vibrant, thoughtful, and infinitely modular, High Five is more than a toy. It is a bridge between art and empathy, design and social impact, play and purpose.
